Companies are looking to BYOD to improve business processes and maintain competitive advantage.
A survey of nearly 1,500 IT decision-makers in 10 countries suggests that seven out of 10 companies believe that bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policies can improve their work processes, while three out of five (59%) believe they would be at a competitive disadvantage without it. The director of enterprise mobility solutions at Dell Software Group, Roger Bjork, says the gains include more flexible working hours and the ability to foster creativity, innovation and teamwork.
