"BYOD" is officially in the OED. Does this mean BYOD's time has come or that its time has passed?
When new words get added to the Oxford English Dictionary, it's a big deal. It gives the people, places, things and ideas behind those words credence--it means their time has come. So it goes, unfortunately, for "twerking," but so it also goes for "BYOD." The OED has just added BYOD to its word ranks. But does this mean that BYOD's time has come or that its time has passed?
