In the wake of the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) movement comes BYOA, or bring your own application.
Enterprise workers are not only bringing their own devices (BYOD), they are also bringing their own applications (BYOA). This is in turn bringing more headaches to IT professionals trying to manage the environment. Enterprise app stores promise at least a partial solution, but only if IT security, application, procurement and sourcing professionals can work together to successfully apply the app store concept to their enterprises.
